I’ve given enlargements of this photograph as a special gift on a number of occasions. By special, I mean that I’ve given prints to people who have really made a difference in my life - my gesture of thanks for acts of kindness and grace.
Sunflowers for Ukraine
The bright yellow of the sunflowers combined with the deep blue summer sky echo the proud blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag. As the sunflowers stand together in the photograph, I hope that lovers of self-determination, human rights, democracy, and peace stand together and oppose those violate these precious principles.
